With one more agonizing week to wait for the last Harry Potter book to arrive in my mailbox, I finally saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix last night. To put it bluntly, I am going crazy waiting to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I should have gone to see it on Wednesday midnight-oh-one in the morning because, well, I can't stand to know that it is getting generally wonderful reviews (especially the young woman who plays Luna Lovegood) and I run in to fans on the subway who have seen it and who say "it is the best yet!" and I have not seen it yet!

The fifth Harry Potter film was released in several cities on the 11th, including NYC (no, I haven't seen it yet, but I've already talked to several fans on the subway who have seen it and loved it). But as of today, the fifth Harry Potter film is released for worldwide distribution. The positive reviews continue to pour in, so I am dying to see it, especially since the Luna Lovegood character has been so well received (she is one of my favorites in the books, especially since I see myself as a combination of Luna and Hermione).

Those of you who love Harry Potter might be deceived into downloading a worm onto your computer via infected USB memory drives. If users plug these drives into their Windows PCs, they are liable to infect their machines with the appropriately named Hairy-A worm.

I have been reading the rumors that have been flying these past few days that JK Rowling might write another Harry Potter book. This book will likely end up being an encyclopedia of the entire series instead of a true adventure, as the first seven books are.

According to Amazon, the top ten "Harry-est" towns in the United States include 4 from Washington state, 3 from Virginia, 1 each from Texas, Pennsylvania and New York state.
I guess it is time for me to order my own copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
