If you're poking around, looking for some relaxing diversion before you have to go back to work tomorrow, you've come to the right place. Lately, I've been writing a few casual game reviews for Casual Gameplay, better known as JayIsGames.com. Jay has offered reviews of the best in online casual gaming for many years, and has earned quite a reputation. Being a loyal fan of the site, I love the chance to help Jay and his staff out with the occasional review. OK, well, truth be told, it's a good excuse to relax, something most of us need. Here are a few reviews I've done over the past few months:

Stop Disasters!:
A simulation game, sponsored by the UN, designed to teach preparedness for natural disasters. (I only did the critical analysis on this one; it was enough to keep me quite busy.)

Zookeeper:
A Japanese puzzle game, similar to bejeweled, featuring a crowd of moody animals.

Reunion:
A gentle platform-hopping flash game, with a sleepy setting and intensive graphics. Here's a brief trailer for the game, which was released just recently:
If you're a fan of these sorts of games, check back for more links to my reviews, posted here on the weekends.
"Bits of puzzle, fitting each other": a bonus YouTube link to anyone who can guess the obscure lyrical reference in this line and the title of this post.

The lyrical reference is from Jane's Addiction, "Three Days"
Excellent! And before noon, even. It's nice to see I have readers who know good music. I saw Jane's Addiction live at the first Lollapalooza, and was deeply impressed by their performance of 3 Days. A few years later, I saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers at the third festival. There, I bought a t-shirt with a fractal on it.
Anyways, here's the prize... a video of a live performance of the song. It was apparently recorded off of MTV, and was too long for the YouTube 10 minute limit, so it is broken into two parts. But, it's worth it... they have Flea on bass!
