Sarah Palin was interviewed by Katie Couric:
Couric: Would you support a moratorium on foreclosures to help average Americans keep their homes?
Palin: That's something that John McCain and I have both been discussing - whether that (pause) is part of the solution or not. You know, it's going to be a multi-faceted solution that has to be found here.
Couric: So you haven't decided whether you'll support it or not?
Palin: I have not.
Couric: What are the pros and cons of it do you think?
Palin: Oh, well, some decisions that have been made poorly should not be rewarded, of course.
Couric: By consumers, you're saying?
Palin: Consumers - and those who were predator lenders also.
Now look, we know that Sarah Palin hates animals. She hates cats, wolves, bears, and moose in particular.
Her hatred for predators is so great that she did everything in her power to encourage unsportsmanlike and cruel aerial hunting of wolves. It is so great that she had the state pay a bounty for each wolf leg that a hunter brought in. Her hatred of animals is so great that the Humane Society, for the first time in its history, has endorsed a presidential candidate, and it isn't McCain/Palin.
That's all understandable. But why on earth does she have to carry that over to the financial crisis? Is she even aware that these "predator [sic] lenders" she's been told about are actually people, people who charge inhumane and usurious rates of interest? Does she understand that the foreclosure crisis is hitting a lot of good, honest people who are being asked to pay a loan that is far greater than the value of the house, and greater than their income can sustain given the disaster that Bush and McCain made of the economy?
Does she fully grasp that discussion is about predatory lenders, that is, and that allowing those predatory lenders to kick people out of their homes is probably not the best thing for an already fragile economy which is being flooded by collapsing housing values (which is both causing and resulting from the general financial collapse)?
Does she have anything other than policy Mad Libs to suggest? And if it's Mad Libs, why isn't she using standard MadLib nouns like "boobs" or "boner"? Inquiring minds want to know.

I have never seen Palin answer a question she was asked. To pretend to answer a question without answering the question is to lie. Everything out of her mouth is a lie.
Lie? Or just stupidity? And the Lucky American Electorate gets to be the judge. I vote for both BTW.
I do not understand what predatory lending practices hope to accomplish in the first place. I do not understand what anyone hoped to achieve with a sub prime mortgage. Why would you lend money to people (1) at a rate of interest they couldn't afford to pay or (2) when they weren't qualified to borrow money at any rate? How did you ever expect to get your principle back much less that interest? What was the purpose of the whole scheme? It's hard to believe that otherwise intelligent businessmen and women would throw away their money just for the purpose of hurting people that were already hurting? Whatever were they thinking?
You need to wise up, Josh. Both McCain and Bush tried to pass laws that would have stopped the recent home foreclosures and kept the banks from going tits up.
Read through this video carefully and get a clue.
Obama was PART OF THE PROBLEM.
I would not support the moratorium, there is alot of business in florida foreclosures right now
