And happy Thanksgiving to all...

...from EneMan.

Here's wishing everyone who celebrates it a Happy Thanksgiving. As you might expect, our blog mascot is joining in the fun, preparing the turkey, and loading up on tryptophan!

Believe it or not, given my usual prolific nature, I'm taking the day off from blogging to engage in the traditional Thanksgiving Day activities of eating, drinking, and falling asleep on the couch watching football.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone, and I'll be back tomorrow.

You know, this reminds me. I've been very, very remiss in not featuring everyone's favorite blog mascot for his usual monthly appearance. I'll have to remedy that sometime over the long holiday weekend. In the meantime, those of you who can't resist hitting the Internet on a holiday (or those of you who don't happen to be American), consider this a holiday open thread.

I've been very remiss in featuring what has become, from a very early point in this blog's history, its de facto mascot. Maybe it's because he's just been so busy being BEOC (Big Enema on Campus), or maybe it's a bit of laziness on my part. Or maybe having a giant walking Fleet's enema bottle…
Regular readers of this blog since before the move to ScienceBlogs a month ago have probably wondered when everybody's favorite blog mascot would return. It's likely that Christopher Mims and the rest of the ScienceBlog editors probably hoped that he wouldn't, so as not to associate the Seed…
The Thanksgiving advice from Making Light got here too late to do us any good, but we had a fine first Thanksgiving anyway. My parents, sister, grandmother, and one of my great-aunts came up from New York, and Kate's parents came up from Boston, so we packed nine people into our smallish house,…

I sure hope he wasn't involved in basting that turkey...

I enjoy your blog allot and for that I am Thankful. Here is to wishing you and all your readers a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I'd like to give thanks to Orac for the interesting and informative blog. I'd like to thank Eneman for making my colonoscopy possible, even though fasting for a week would have been less unpleasant.

And i'd like to thank the NY Jets and Dallas Cowboys for working on a holiday.

A little late, I know, but...

Would Eneman's oversize proportions help or hinder with stuffing that turkey? I'm thinking a giant syringe with an extra-wide tip would be perfect for super-quick stuffing.

Is his tip heat-resistant?
