Another thing to be thankful for: The only way I'll ever be associated with Paris Hilton

Since some other members of the ScienceBlogs collective are doing it, link whore that I am, I couldn't resist putting my blog into this site and seeing where it ranked.

And here's the result:

With 516 links in the last 180 days, Technorati places http://scienceblogs.com/insolence in the very high authority group.

That makes you a A-List Blogger!

Fortunately (and yet one more thing to be thankful for on Thanksgiving), this is probably the only way I'll ever be in any way associated with Paris Hilton. I was tempted to take a picture of Orac and Photoshop him into the picture above, but decided that it would be way more work than this silliness is worth. I also hate the pink logo; consequently, I'm not about to be posting it anywhere in my sidebar.

It seems rather odd that I've made the A-List rank with PZ (who averages roughly ten times my traffic and has a Technorati rank of around 260 compared to my rank of 4,200) and Ed (who has roughly three times my traffic).

Ah, what the hell! If you've got it, flaunt it, baby!

And who can blame them? Technorati, if you're unfamiliar with it, is one of those services that watches activity on the web, and then puts up metrics and ranks and scores, and tries to distill the flux into something simpler and more comprehensible, which often reduces to telling you how many…
Here at SB, we use Google analytics for getting info about how many people are reading our blogs, and how they get here. I also have a SiteMeter monitor on GM/BM. One thing that I get a kick out of is taking a look at my hits, and seeing what kinds of interesting connections come up. Sometimes it'…
So, remember that little summary I gave you a few weeks ago? You know, the one where I sort of laid out my blog history, etc.? Well, I have to amend that. You see, as I was writing, I realized how much I missed my White Coat Underground. It's silly really, because it's just a name, a label, but…

Orac, perhaps *you're* frightened at appearing with Paris, but Eneman has no fear of going *anywhere*....
