My wife would say yes.
But, because all the other ScienceBloggers appear to be doing it, I had to take this test to find out:
Does your weblog own you?
It's actually not as bad as I had feared. It would actually only be 12.5% if I hadn't been forced to answer "yes" to "Do you get paid for blogging?" Given that the pay is pretty nominal and given for something that I would be doing anyway, maybe I should consider myself 12.5% owned...
More like this
Does my blog own me? Since girl scientist started it, I Ihad to go along....
18.75 %
My weblog owns 18.75 % of me.Does your weblog own you?
I've been kind of bad about responding to the "Ask a ScienceBlogger" questions lately, but they've had a lot of stuff up there that I just don't have a response for. The most recent question is something I probably ought to post about, though:
What's a time in your career when you were criticized…
Younger offspring: Mom? I have a question.
Dr. Free-Ride: OK.
Younger offspring: If I got up really early --
Dr. Free-Ride: I hope you won't.
Younger offspring: No, I won't, but if I got up really early, way before it's time to wake up, like, midnight, and I tried to open my eyes and wake up,…
Janet D. Stemwedel: Hey, can we talk about pseudonymous blogging?
Dr. Free-Ride: Haven't you already written a bunch of posts about that?
Janet D. Stemwedel: Yeah, but the blogosphere seems to be discussing it again.
Dr. Free-Ride: You know I only work on Fridays, right?
Janet D. Stemwedel: Get…
Apparently, my blog manages to own almost 31% of me. That's pretty scary actually considering many other science bloggers seem to be hovering around 6-20%.
Internet tests are the ultimate way to determine how your life is going very clearly.
your score is more reasonable (translation: believable) than certain people's scores. not naming any names, though!
and i agree with Joseph; i also have noticed the infallible and powerful diagnostic power of internet tests, and i have been impressed with their ability to accurately predict one's future.
Ahhh, but the real test would be to have Mrs Orac complete the test for you. Now *that* would be telling!
