I know you're unemployed right now. Did you ever consider reviewing books for pay?
book reviews pay a paltry sum (often paying $25, if anything at all), and involve huge amounts of time and effort to write (it takes me roughly 8 hours to write a 600 word review of a book for publication). however, that said, i have two book reviews being published -- for money -- soon. one will appear this week thursday and the other doesn't yet have a specific publication date, but will appear sometime in august, or perhaps early september.
