I receive a fair number of books to review each month, so I thought I should do what several magazines and other publications do; list those books that have arrived in my mailbox so you know that this is the pool of books from which I will be reading and reviewing on my blog.
Life List: A Woman's Quest for the World's Most Amazing Birds by Olivia Gentile (Bloomsbury USA; 2009). Review copy.
Animals Make Us Human: Creating the Best Life for Animals by Temple Grandin and Catherine Johnson (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt; 2009). Review copy.
Shark by Dean Crawford (Reaktion Books; 2008). Review copy.
Naming Nature: The Clash Between Instinct and Science by Carol K. Yoon (W. W. Norton & Co.; 2009). Advanced reading copy.
The Open Laboratory 2008. A gift.
Ornithological Monographs No. 58.: Ernst Mayr at 100: Ornithologist and Naturalist by Walter J. Bock and M. Ross Lein, editors. (American Ornithologists Union; 2005). A gift.
Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman! (Adventures of a Curious Character) by Richard P. Feynman (Norton; 1997). A reader (do you wish to remain anonymous?) sent this book to me and I've already finished reading it!
What Do You Care What Other People Think?: Further Adventures of a Curious Character by Richard Feynman (Norton; 2001). The same reader (as the previous one) sent this book to me and I've finished it, too.
Incidentally, here's a fascinating idea; advertising a book using YouTube [0:55];

I love the Feynman books!! They are so interesting and fun to read, so I'm not surprised those were finished already :)
