Palin is a Skeptic of Man-Made Global Warming

From an interview this month with NewsMax:

What is your take on global warming and how is it affecting our country?

A changing environment will affect Alaska more than any other state, because of our location. I'm not one though who would attribute it to being man-made.

More like this

Yesterday, Sarah Palin demanded that Charlie Gibson: Show me where I have ever said that there's absolute proof that nothing that man has ever conducted or engaged in has had any effect or no effect on climate change. I have not said that. Except, well: Last year, she told the Fairbanks Daily News-…
CBS is ever so slowly releasing bits and pieces of Katie Couric's interviews with John McCain and Sarah Palin. Last night they released the transcript and some of the video of the third part of the interview where Governor Palin addresses several key science and health issues including her opinion…
Too long, thus under the fold - enjoy, think, bookmark for later, use: Netroots push back against MSM 'bias': Criticism from the left can take a variety of forms, including fact-checking, aggregating links and sometimes original reporting. Also, similar to the right's strategy over decades of "…
Between electronic "smog" and their incessant bleating that every weather event is due to global warming, I have come to the conclusion that the Independent, with stories like this one, are trying to bring down the science of global warming from the inside. It's official: the heavier rainfall in…

Sarah Palin belongs to a cult that believes in a religous activism called the "Third Wave", The Assembly of God church denounced this practice as heretical in 1949 and 1990. "Third Wave" believes they are spiritually superior to everyone else and will lead the world in the end times. Oh boy I can't wait...

Well, glaciers have grown in Alaska recently: http://www.adn.com/news/environment/story/555283.html

Global temperatures are down 1 degree centigrade since 1998. Arctic ice has grown 30% in the last year, and antarctic ice is the greatest it's been since measurements began in 1979. If all the ice in the arctic melted, all else being equal, sea levels would drop. Ice takes up more volume than liquid water, which is why your glass doesn't overflow when the ice in it melts. Did you miss that day of 5th grade?

Global warming is a lie told to children to scare them into doing their chores. "Do the dishes, or the monster will get you" becomes "pay your carbon taxes or global warming will get you."

Last winter was the coldest winter in 100 years in China, and this year is looking to be very cold here indeed. Sure some of Greenlands ice has melted lately (due to geo-thermal activity), but other parts of greenlands ice has grown. Ancient maps show no ice around greenland, it really was green.

CO2 leads to abundant growth of flora and fauna, it's great for life. I wish there was global warming, the earth could support a lot more life.

The polar bear population is growing, and hey, they can swim 100 miles.

Do something useful and protest sulphur, mercury, PCBs, not the essential life-giving CO2. But wind turbines kill bats that kill insects that eat crops, so it's hard to win.

A changing environment with respect to continuing unfettered use of fossil fuels will affect Alaska more than any other state

fixed that for her

not surprised

I'm an alaskan, I lead glacier tours. Some of you who visit here seem to think I'm an expert on it, even though I live in a state with less than 700000 citizens. Any chance Sarah could also be a bit of an expert on it? Or is it too much to ask in a political environment for someone to allow another person to be an expert simply based upon how large or small a town they are from?

Our glaicer here in alaska were formed near the end of the pleistocene era, some 10,000 years ago, and have been the victims of "global warming" ever since... We still have over half the worlds glaciers contained within our borders, and they all have been secumbing to this global melting phenomenon ever since they peaked back those thousands of years ago. Most alaskans are fairly well educated with respect to this
