I tried to count the women in the LISA group picture. Couldn't find more than 6. And it looks like more than 100 people in the group.
24 women that I know (I just looked at the registration list, there were 3-4 names that could be either male or female and who I didn't know personally) out of 100+. "My group" was 2 male, 2 female, for what it is worth.
That is about average for this demographic, physics biased astrophysics group.
Joan Centrella (GSFC) and Alessandra Buonanno (UMd) were on the LOC, though Stephen Merkowith (GSFC) was chair.
