Beautiful... and fast. It seems that it was only just launched.
On checking, it was actually launched Jan 19, 2006, with closest approach to Jupiter on Feb 28 2007. It blew past at 21 km/sec relative to Jupiter, and at a distance of about 2.3 million km. At that time, all the moons were on the far side; so it's particularly impressive that such great images were obtained. Looks promising for 2015!
