Creation Science Set to Music

In the beginning it begun.

More like this

Operation Save America has begun. Some of the fundagelicals are hoping to get militant, and I don't mean in that same sense that some atheists are called "militant", which generally means "atheists who say something". No, they are organizing and training kids to get out there and fight spiritual…
On this date, six thousand and eleven years ago (give or take a little due to the vagaries of how calendars are kept), the creation of the universe had just begun. That's according to the 1650 chronology determined by the Anglican Bishop of Armagh James Ussher, anyway, published in his Annales…
...the Veepstakes have begun. The first poll that includes potential Veeps for Obama and McCain is now out.
The grapes have been picked up and the fermenting has (hopefully!) begun. This year I'm trying two types of grapes, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese.

This isn't bad, but my favorite is still the "Magic Man Done It" skit (alas, don't know its proper name).

First I am a Christian but I amd not a fundamentalist and I do believe in evolution. The problem I have with the video is that it is not only making fun of "creation science" or "intelligent design" theories but of theism in general. I think this is a mistake. Richard Dawkins is one who looks foolish when he leaves the scientific world (which he is very good at) and tried to debate theology (which he is very poor at).

One thing I think the Creation science people have done is shown to many that scientists have biases and cannot be blindly trusted to speak the truth (even as a scientific community). I was taught that true science is objective (which is true), that most scientist are objective (Do not know if that is true at all), and that the ones who are not objective will be weeded out by the scientific community ( I think this has been shown to be not true).

So while science is useful and scientists should be trusted (overall) I think it is good that society is beginning to understand that science is very fallible and that it will not always fix itself oer time.

But the main problem with the video is that there are many scientists and others who believe in some form of theistic evolution.
