Friday Vanity Blogging: Physics Central Profile

Earlier this summer, I talked about the blog and the book on the phone with somebody from the APS, providing material for a profile of me that was posted yesterday on Physics Central. It's pretty good, but it's still a little strange to see my name and picture on their profile index with some of the other names there-- I don't really think of myself as being in the same category as Margaret Murnane or Mildred Dresselhaus, who are really amazing scientists.

So, it's very flattering to see this up there. It would also probably be a useful reference for anybody who would like to update my stub of a Wikipedia page (I'd do it myself, but I'm told that's frowned upon). This list of publications might also be useful.

The series of interviews with some of the participants of the 2008 Science Blogging Conference was quite popular, so I decided to do the same thing again this year, posting interviews with some of the people who attended ScienceOnline'09 back in January. Today, I asked Sam Dupuis from the Science…

During my winter blogging break, I thought I'd repost of few of my "greatest hits" from my old blog, just so you all wouldn't miss me so much. This one is from September 24, 2007. This post follows up on my initial 2007 post which I reposted yesterday. It's worth noting that the blog has evolved…

I'm reading through Dresselhaus, Dresselhaus, and Jorio and have to say if there some way of joining a Dresselhaus fan club, I'd be there. :)
