In the spirit of improving poster presentations, there is also this PDF document from somewhere in the UK. The first page is along the lines of your link. The second page reproduces the classic "How to Prepare a Perfectly Putrid Poster." When I was a grad student AGU used to enclose a copy of that document along with the abstract acceptance letter for poster presentations. Those who were assigned talks got the companion piece "Guidelines for Giving a Truly Terrible Talk." I think I still have a copy of each in my office somewhere.
