Chad, here's a challenge for a dedicated explainer of science: explain what the heck that article about superconductivity is about. (Where's the Glue)
I vaguely understand the low-temperature superconductors, with the Cooper pairs and all, but high-temperature superconductors don't make any sense to me, and that article didn't help much.
Really short answer: that experimental article was not attempting to explain high-Tc superconductors. Longer answer: see what I just posted on my blog.
