If I were teaching a course on evolution, this would probably be the first thing I would show the class.

Eric Hedin, an assistant professor of physics at Ball State University, has come under fire for an honors course called, “Boundaries of Science.” The problem: the course appears to be little more than thinly veiled Christian evangelism. From The USA Today:

Amazing. It's great to see a Symphony of Science video devoted to biology. I normally despise auto tune, but when applied this way, it works very well.

Bitchy troll is bitchy.
Amazing. Carl Sagan was the best example of how to make science understandable to general public. Even in a series called "Cosmos", devoted to Astronomy, he uses a whole episode explaining evolution.
Thanks for sharing this video. It's one of my favourites!

Wow, fantastic!
Never thought i'd see David Attenborough burst into song. :P
Although when I first saw the title of this in my rss reader I thought it had something to do with PZ's never-ending thread, I thought this was a great video, Brian.
YT has some other great Carl Sagan videos too. The man's gone but definitely not forgotten.
