See here. Storm World made a list of 150 books in total, 25 of which are "nonfiction" entries. I'm honored.

Carl Zimmer sent me a message via Facebook, which made me think I might owe the New York Times an apology for last week's ranting. Publishers Weekly has come out with their list of the best books of the year, and they do even worse than the Times: not one of the 27 books in their "Nonfiction"…
I'm honored/flattered/thrilled/etc. to have Proust Was A Neuroscientist listed as one of the 25 best non-fiction books of the year by the LA Times. Other science-themed* books included on the list are The Atomic Bazaar, by William Langewiesche and Leviathan: The History of Whaling in America by…
It's time for the annual blog about the annual Nucleic Acids Research (NAR) database issue. This is the 24th database issue for NAR and the seventh blog for @finchtalk. Like most years I have no idea what I'm going to write about until I start reading the new issue. Something always inspires me.…
Every year for the last bunch of years I’ve been linking to and posting all the “year’s best sciencey books” lists that I can find around the web in various media outlets.
From the beginning it’s been a pretty popular service so I’m happy to continue it. The previous posts for all the 2013 lists…
Congratulations!
Fantastic!
Congrats, Chris, on a well-deserved honor!
Next up, I hope, a best-books award from the National Book Critics Circle.
I recommended your book to my fellow NBCC members for reasons cited in my review (click my name).
As I said in July, Storm World should be required reading for anyone with interest in engaging in the great science and policy divide. It's an excellent work and Chris - you continue to amaze and inspire me everyday.
Congratulations! There's no one with whom I'd rather share my blogosphere :)
Chris,
That's a great accomplishment -- you have my congratulations.
Eric
Well done, and well deserved.
Chris,
You must be feeling great for an accomplishment well done. Congrats...
Congrats, Chris!
Congratulations!
I'm about halfway through the book and enjoying it very much. Hopefully I'll get a review up one of these days.
CONGRATS Chris - I loved it.
WHEN ARE YOU COMING TO DALLAS SO I CAN GET YOU TO SIGN MY COPY?????????? Maybe we could get a speaking engagement for you at Southern Methodist University and promote it also at University of Texas at Dallas.
What can I say except...thanks to you all. It is particularly gratifying to receive this recognition given the not so dramatic hurricane season--these storms are not on people's minds right now, and neither, you might think, are books about them. Publisher's Weekly just proved otherwise.

The next busy hurricane season -- that's when you release the mass-market paperback edition!
Well done, sir. Keep up the good work in your new home.
Best,

congrats on the book. That's really cool.
