I often wonder how such bad-tempered birds managed to evolve. They're so willing to beat to death their own species that its amazing they survive.

My cockatiel Fuss-Pot went on a rampage last night when, for a few minutes, he realized (again) that he and his mate Baby had eggs in their nesting box. They haven't quite gotten the idea that they have to sit ON the eggs so they sit next to them in the box, not much chance of anything hatching. Anyhow, I had to take him out for a few minutes to distract him until he forgot again and it was safe to put him back.
