Our African Grey routinely scolds the dog, who simply ignores him, (Of course the dog ignores us when we scold too).
I used to work at a pet shop where a hyacinth macaw would taunt employees by imitating a ringing phone. When you picked up the parrot would also recite "Thank you for calling Pet Junction, how may I help you?". We used joke we should just let the bird answer the damn phone.
My grandmother is ill so I am taking care of her chihuahua Punky. My mini macaw Jennie enjoys asking Punky where her sweater is (like my grandma does) and telling the dog DON'T PISS THE CARPET.
The hyacinth macaw story is pretty funny!
