Why not translate the name completely: Seurasaari = Society Island.

Well, Helsinki is a bit far in the periphery from my point of view. I live near Jyväskylä, and it is about 300 kilometers to Helsinki from here. Not a big distance to someone used to the U.S. Midwest, but non-trivial for me. A pint of hard cider in wonkish company would be nice, though. Have fun!
juuro -- i am very disappointed that i won't be able to meet you on wednesday! if you happen to find someone who is coming to helsinki who can give you a ride, i hope you manage to come down to meet me sometime while i am still here (i leave 10 march). i am always ready to go out for beers!
