Oooo - was it a pair? Or by "this bird" does he mean "one of this species"?
this is the actual female who is currently on Bainbridge Island with the male that you saw yesterday -- i think a lot of people are hoping they'll stay and breed.
The male and female were of a pair seen here on Bainbridge Island, WA last Sunday and Monday. They have since left.
