A Sunny NYC Welcome

Yesterday, I had plenty of errands to keep me busy because the birds were out of food and I had a mountain of mail to send and an even bigger mountain of mail to retrieve. So I took my camera and got a few pictures while I took care of business. I thought this picture was especially nice.

Incidentally, I was unable to get out today because the building super and his assistant were fixing the holes in my trashed bathroom. I am excited because this means that I will not have any more mice for roommates! The building super plans to paint the entire bathroom on Tuesday. I am allowed to have my bathroom painted any color I desire, as long as it's white.

I was so wishing to paint it blue. Or green. Or lilac. Or purple.

Oh, come on. Purple only goes with garish yellow. You would have to park one of those taxis in there to make it work.
