Can You Pass Eighth Grade Geography?

Okay, I'll admit this was an easy quiz, but I am an American afterall, so geography quizzes must be easy or I'd never pass them!

My score is below the fold -- I'd love to know what your score is, too!

8/10. Not being American, I didn't know the least populated state. I got the river question wrong as well, though not according to about.com, or multiple other sources

Yup, I got 9/10 cos I got the river one wrong. Turns out, according to Encarta® Online Encyclopedia,w hich I got to through, yes, wikipedia, that even though the Nile (my answer) has long (haha) been considered the world's longest river, due to the new satellite maps that have revealed another tributary of the Amazon, the Amazon is the "correct" answer. (phew that was a long run on sentence, sorry!) But it didn't sound too conclusive. Which all goes to show- geography is not set in "stone!" Good thing or geographers would be out of jobs...

Is that the same as Bush saying defence is the true nature of the fence (along the US's southern border)?

9/10. Missed the river question, although almost all of online references give the Nile as the correct unambiguous answer.
