The Second Phase of ScienceBlogs

ScienceBlogs is set to launch into a new phase in about 15 minutes, with about 25 new blogs joining the list. They're also rolling out a whole new homepage that looks dramatically different from the old one. I can't tell you all the new blogs that are joining us, but a few of them are really exciting to me personally because I'm a fan already. And I can't wait to explore the rest of them and find new gems. So head on over there in a little while and see the new kids on the block. And if you run into Tim, our tech guy, you might wanna give him some oxygen.

Today is the day. Today is the day that Seed has decided to launch a revamped version of ScienceBlogs, complete with a spiffy new front page. It's long overdue, as the front page as it was had caused a number of frustrations, not the least of which is that bloggers whose posts are not as frequent…
The third entry on my "These Are a Few of My Favorite Things" list is my favorite sportswriter. That honor goes to the legendary Sports Guy, Bill Simmons. The Sports Guy writes for espn.com, as well as for the Jimmy Kimmel show, and he's the funniest sportswriter this side of Bill Scheft. But…

Oh, the suspense...

Quite a few of them. That's probably at least in part because they asked for recommendations on other blogs from us old timers and PZ and I recommended some of them. I don't think it's done yet, either, I suspect a few more PT contributors may be on their way here in the future.

Yeah, I have an open offer from them but have put it off until after I graduate and thus have time to blog. I haven't decided on what to do about the offer. I like customizing my blog software a lot.

Wow, nice makeover. ScienceBlogs is really going full force with its recruitment. But I don't really know most of the new players here. Since Dispatches is my favorite SB blog, which of the new SB blog would you recommend for your readers?
