I just got off the phone with Jim Babka, a radio talk show host and founder of DownsizeDC.org. He has invited me to come on his show on Sunday evening to debate the Terri Schiavo situation with Larry Klayman, founder of Judicial Watch and tireless filer of lawsuits. The entire show is one hour long and I'm told we'll likely be going on the air around 5:10 and will be on for about a half an hour. The show is broadcast on the ABC radio feed and can be heard in Kansas City and Knoxville, among other place. It looks like you can listen on the internet as well at this link, but apparently you only get to listen for 25 minutes for free without buying a subscription, so don't try to log on until Sunday night. Thanks to Perry Willis, a longtime reader of this blog, for recommending me as a guest.
Update: It turns out that the show is going to be carried on all four network feeds on this page simultaneously, and the first two are free to listen to all the time. Ignore what it says is going to be on, he is replacing another show. What I'm not sure of is whether it's 5 pm easter time or central time. I've sent an email to nail it down.

Ed,
Will there be an MP3 archive of the radio show available after it's done? A lot of internet radio shows provide these.

Is that 5:10 local time Ed? Hopefully we can also get to see a transcript at some point too.
Here is the statement on the Schiavo case from their website:
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton issued the following statement today concerning the death of Terri Schiavo:
"This is a shameful day for our legal and political systems. Under court order, an innocent woman, Ms. Terri Schiavo, was killed by starvation and dehydration. Politicians at the state and federal level were derelict in their absolute duties to protect innocent human life. Our culture has crossed an awful Rubicon - for we now have legal precedent for the murder of innocent, disabled and voiceless adults. We hope the American people are now alerted to the crisis posed to this nation by an activist judiciary that would sanction such barbarity. Our prayers and condolences go out to Ms. Schiavo's family."
Yowza. How many things are wrong with THAT statement?
easter time??? *L*
DonM-
There is an archive on the gcn site for the show, but I'm not sure if it costs or not. At the very least, I imagine I'll be able to get an MP3 of the show as a courtesy and then perhaps make it available to others here on this site. I'll certainly ask for that.
Thanks Ed,
Looking at the GNC site it looks like all of their quoted broadcast times are Central time.
I have set my PC to record from 5:10 Central for 30 minutes (I'm out all day tomorrow)... we'll see what I get.
Go get 'em!!!
