Four years ago today, The Pip was born. That's hard to believe, in both directions at different times. There are days when it seems like just yesterday that he was a tiny helpless thing, and other days when he seems to have been a hyper Little Dude for aeons.
I took a bunch of pictures of him today…
I've been really bad about documenting The Pip's growth here. The annoying thing is, I've actually taken pictures of him over the last couple of weeks, but I've been too busy to edit and post them. If there's one thing transcontinental flights are good for, though, it's providing you with time to…
Do Not Panic!
Do Not Blink!
Do Not Go Back to Sleep.
Go out, in about 3 hours, and watch the solar eclipse
It is short, about 2 mins, but it will be beautiful (unless it is raining, is it raining?) and you in Gooseland will be just about the only people with a chance to see it.

Gurning: Making a grotesque face.
Not Wren.
Darn.
Margaret Thatcher?
Richard Owen?
John Cleese.
Isaac Newton.
Geronimo
Peter Griffin.
The bollocks on his chin are a dead giveaway.
I think John Lynch is right:

I posted the answer at the start of the next picture quiz. The short answer is that Lynch is indeed correct.
Yea me!
So what do I win?
:)
The motivation to say "Yea me!" That's enough, surely.
In Wikipedia's entry for Owen, I found this reference to him:
Darwin commented that "I used to be ashamed of hating him so much, but now I will carefully cherish my hatred & contempt to the last days of my life".
:) Isaac Newton :)
